This is a really good step to curb the ill practices by these companies.
Not only cellular companies but such fraud is also observed in Private banks like ICICI, Citibank etc.
I am really tired by so many times I have to request them for reversals.
one example ; ; ; last month, one particular credit bill was due on 20th of July. I gave the bank a cheque dated 19, of my other a/c which had sufficient funds.Inspite of having sufficient funds, citibank charged me of bounced cheque of charges 300 + 33 + 250 + 37. now when I asked them, they kept me calling to Citibank CC, Citibank account division, then with Hutch (this was a payment of Hutch monthly bill to which Citibank is the bank in which I have a/c) and after 3 days of again and again telling the same story, they agreed to clear up their mess.
Even then, this months bill showed an extra charge of rs. 104/.
When asked, they acknowledged that last months fine which was reversed, these charges still remained to be reversed.
Suppose I had not asked then I would had to pay those charges...!! !!
I think these ppl are thieves in a professional coat.
Boon bhai, u have taken the right step to inform the TRAI and also regarding the ICICI bank fraud.
This case is involving both Bank and Hutch.

In each case i got Rs47=00 talk time but validity only for one month i.e 24/10/2006.ideally inspite of taking the advantage of customer mistake system should validate my card for another one month.or you should give me full talk time for next Rs 200.I request u to resolve both issues and update immediately. Same time i would like to appreciate ur escalation matrix available on web with phone no's but no one picking these phone no.

For your safety always use Itemised Bill and go for Reliance or Airtel the Biggest Company of Cellular in India.....

Hi I am one of the silent members who enjoys and loves reading MHO mails. I am sending this mail to inform all the members who are using Hutch mobile connection.
Please check your bills. If you are getting itemised bill. Please check them. Hutch is charging you for those SMS and calls which might not have done. I noticed this for about three months back when it charged me Rs. 15 for a caller tune message which I never did. Since then it has become a routine of the company to charge such things. On complaing to the company we get no satisfactory answer.
I can imagine what will be the conditions of those people who are not recieving Itemised bill. They people don't even know what are they paying for.
This, I suppose, is a problem which every mobile user must have faced. Company should stop cheating its customers. When we are paying for what we use then why are we charge false like that. This message is to inform HUTCH users to beware and check their bills properly and see whether they are paying reasonable amount or not. If company doesn't give proper answer we might think of switching over to some other company like Airtell.
Please pass this to your friends so that they people also notice this and do correct me if I am wrong.
